Welcome to the Empire of Tokuno. Below you will find information pertaining to expectations as a potential member and guidelines to assist in helping you down the path as a role-player. Please take the time to carefully read over everything.
Never be hesitant to ask our veteran members’ questions you may have subjects for concern, or any other general topic that you are unsure of. They are more than willing to assist you with your gaming experience in the Empire of Tokuno. If asking questions in the game make sure they are fashioned in role-playable aspects. If a question is considered out of character (OOC) merely ICQ, AIM, PM, or E-mail any of our veterans who are more than willing to help. We maintain high hopes that you will thoroughly enjoy the EoT experience!
Before we go any farther it is highly important for you to understand a few things about the Empire of Tokuno:
- The first step would be your character’s name. It could be a realistic name such as, "Mark" or fantasy name such as, "Tanis.” However, names such as, "Lunchbox" are not names we would accept into the guild. With soulstones, the abundance of power scrolls, and the ease of gaining stats; it is not hard at all to create a new character in very little time.
- All characters in EoT must have some description on their paperdolls so other role-players can "see" what your character looks like. It is not necessary to make this paperdoll description overly detailed or give away too much information about the character.
- We are mainly a Japanese style Feudal Society , however we are accepting of other races (not all though) just talk to a leader within the guild.
- As Japanese style Feudal Society . However, it is accepted to use weaponry or clothing from new editions to the game. We ask you use discretion when you create your "look" for your character. If you have questions feel free to ask a veteran member of the guild.
- We are not an inherently "good" nor "evil" group. We play our characters as realistic as possible, with real passions, ambitions and faults.
- This is not a catchall guild just for highlighting. If you are part of the guild, you are part of the guild. You are expected to act accordingly.
If at this point you are not sure this is the right guild for you or are unsure, NO WORRIES! Again, if you have questions merely ask. If you are looking for a different style group, talk to one of the leadership and we can recommend and point you in the right direction!
SO YOU WISH TO JOIN!
1) Its easy, contact one in the leadership! Include a brief description of your character, how much experience you have with Ultima Online as well as Role Playing (it is ok if you haven't Role Played before)
2) You must read the Rules of Engagement and Code of Conduct, then let the person who would add you know you read and understand those rules. You will be expected to adhere to the rules so it is important you do read them.
3) You must have ICQ
4) You must register on this forum
5) You will most likely start as a human, but you should become familiar with the lore behind Empire of Tokuno.
6) It is recommended you download Ventrilo (it is free) www.ventrilo.com/download.php. Download the right client. As we do use Vent for certain activities it is a great tool for PvP, PvM, and events.
